Will McNicol - Launches - THE COLLEGE Wednesday 1st July 2020

Hi folks, I’ve been so excited to let you know about this project - it’s been a long time in the making. Tuition in its many forms is one of my favourite parts of this job. Over the years I’ve been giving tutorials, masterclasses and workshops I’ve built up quite the collection of materials and experiences I wanted to share. This project - THE COLLEGE - is the culmination of years of thought about how I can best provide these things to guitarists wherever they are around the world.

But not only that, I wanted to collaborate with the inspirational people I’ve met along the way so they can share their own unique view points with you.

Early-bird offer: enrol between now and 01/07/20 and get one month added to your subscription for free.

Will also offers Tuition - see his listing lower down

The Saturday Shindig 2
Findlay Napier

July 18th, 20:00 with Findlay Napier!

The return of our live stream series, a concept we created to help bring our community together online, through music. We’re back and we have a whole host more brilliant artists ready to share live performances, from their homes to yours.

We have assembled an incredible Shindig crew to entertain us over the next 5 weeks, and we hope you will join our weekly Watch Party, each Saturday from 19:30, so that we can host you virtually until we can welcome you back to Tolbooth to enjoy live music together once again.

All the live streams are free to enjoy, but as we recognise this time can be more difficult for some, we welcome donations from those can, to Action in Mind, a charity who work toward better mental health and well being.

Fairports Cropredy Connection - Saturday 15th August

Hello Fairporters,
As you know, the Covid-19 pandemic means there will be no Fairport’s Cropredy Convention this year.

But even though we can’t be together physically on the field on Saturday August 15 we can all meet on the web for something very special on what would’ve been the closing night of the festival.

We are delighted to announce that on Saturday 15 August we shall be streaming a Fairport’s Cropredy Connection on our Youtube channel.

Livestream link:

And what a show it will be! There will be a mix of great music and chat spiced with lashings of the inimitable Cropredy vibe.

Drawing on performances from Cropredy 2019, the evening’s entertainment will include Richard Thompson’s complete set with guests Zara Phillips, Dave Mattacks, Simon Nicol and Dave Pegg. The show will also feature Fairport Convention’s entire two and a half hour show. And, of course, as midnight approaches we can all be together in spirit if not in flesh to sing ‘you-know-what’. Nearer the date we’ll publish a complete timetable of the streaming so you won’t miss a thing. John Gale and Nev Bull have been working tirelessly on the footage during lock down and we think the results are fantastic!

You can stream the evening for free. But if your appetite for Cropredy 2021 is whetted please feel free to purchase your tickets at any time. We never close!

Luke Concannon ~ weekly ZOOM call

Really amazing to get the sense of resilience, courage and tenacity coming from people’s responses to this quarantine. Are you needing some peace, connection and clarity? I’m hosting a weekly ZOOM call; as a place for us to reconnect to self, others and our aliveness. To gather, slow down, and really listen to each other. I’ll sing a song to start us off, and offer some prompts (questions to get us thinking). Then we’ll breakout in to threes to listen to what is coming up for each of us. No charge, this is a gift. This is a chance to hear what we need to hear, in our selves. Every Tuesday at 3pm EST, 8pm UK/Ireland time, and will be meeting each week, same time same place; in this ZOOM room:

Noctambule Music

Bruce Victor is an “old” friend and customer, he is a physician based in San Francisco, and has an ever changing stable of Fylde instruments. With his musical partner Maria Fabish, he is producing a number of “daily serenades’via Facebook Live

Seeing as how we are all stuck inside, we thought it might be fun to provide a short daily serenade, in place, of course, from our living room, over the interwebs to your device of choice!

We are doing this via Facebook Live, every day for the foreseeable future, at 12:30PM Pacific Daylight Time. Tune in by 'liking' the Noctambule Facebook Page, and heading there at the appointed time, where the Live event will magically pop up. Join us - you can heckle us, blow us kisses and make requests through the chat window, and talk to each other as well, all completely germ free!

If you're not free at that time, you can catch the replays - they are all there on the page. For those of you who eschew Facebook, we will be starting to archive them on our YouTube Channel in the next few days. We also put together a little Journey in Place on SoundCloud for your listening pleasure. Marla & Bruce

Martin Simpson

Martin wants us all to subscribe to his Instagram and Facebook accounts, he will be uploading lots of new tab (please keep your requests coming in to ( and finding ways that he can perform mini-concerts.
