Ken Nicol Signature Guitar

Ken's guitar is a blend of power and warmth. Cedar has been used for the soundboard. Cedar is softer than spruce, and is known for its resonance and warmth of tone. The extra attack from a softer timber, projected forward by the hardness of the rosewood, body giving Ken a range of tone which would not be available from other instruments.

"As regards the guitar's tone and physical characteristics, when Roger and I sat down to discuss the making of this guitar I was aware of exactly what I wanted. I also knew that if these requirements were met, that this would be a first class instrument.

What really blew me away though was the fact that in it's completion it easily surpassed all my expectations. The sound has depth and power, and in my books, the neck is about as perfect as you can get. Oh and one last thing - it looks beautiful."

Indian Rosewood sides and three-piece back. Western Red Cedar top: one piece Honduras Mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard and bridge with pearl position markers. Gold plated Gotoh tuners. Rosewood bindings with marquetry borders and marquetry purfling lines on front. Hiscox Liteflite case included.
